Use Popular Videos to Help People Learn

A recent Inc. Magazine survey asked small company CEO's and senior executives to name movies that inspired them as leaders. Whether for leadership or any other skill your staff needs to learn, use popular videos to give examples, and get them talking.

Examples:

"Wall Street" ethics
"Jerry Maguire" sales
"What About Bob?" coping with problems
"Apollo 13" inventiveness; "failure is not an option"; leadership
"Twelve Angry Men" ask questions
"Bridge Over the River Kwai" overconfidence
"Dead Poets Society" innovation; seize the day; leadership
"Glengarcy Glen Ross" inspire employees by doing the opposite of the video
"Norma Rae" leadership
